Last Monday is was a hot day. So we took the kids up to Lucky Peak. We stopped by Sandy point and the kids had fun playing at the beach playing in the sand and swimming in the water. It's a neat place they have made for the kids it has picnic areas, volleyball and a spot for kids to play in the water. The kids loved it. Danny, Megan, Josh and Beverlie went out by the fountain in the middle. Is was fun to just to get out and enjoy the sun. After Sandy point we headed up the canyon to find a spot to have dinner and sit by the campfire and have fun. We found a spot near the river. Me and the kids went exploring well they were cooking dinner. It was a fun day we had.

It's been awhile

It's been awhile since I last blogged and a lot has happened. So this might be a long blog with a lot of picture's. For memorial day Jenny and her family came over for a BBQ. We cooked up some steaks, hamburger, and hot dogs on the grill. It was a hot day and the kids enjoyed playing on the trampoline. They were playing fish out of water and Trevor like being in the water. Then Trevor's t-ball started up and we have been going to his games on Tuesday and Thursday to watch him play. He loves playing and he does really good. Danny is the coach of his team. Beverlie's softball games are on Monday and Wednesday. She is the pitcher and she enjoys playing except when she gets hit by the ball.
We also had Kaitlyn's Baptism this month. We traveled down to Utah. What a trip. We were running late and to top it all off we got stuck in road construction we didn't know they were doing. But we made it in time. It was a nice service and Kaitlyn was so cute. We enjoyed visiting with her if the time we were there. Afterwards We went with Carol to she her house she is building that is almost done. It was amazing. Then we traveled home all in one day. Because I had to work the next morning. CRAZY!

Beverlie played her first softball game the other day. Her team is Valivue Cubs and there color is baby blue. They played there first game against the dust devils from Oregon. Beverlie played Pitcher for the most part of the game. But she also played catcher too. Beverlie is a really good pitcher and she practices hard to be even faster. The game was fun to watch Beverlie's team tried hard but they lost the game. She plays every Mon. and Wed. Trevor is playing T-ball this year and he is good at baseball but he is really shy. His team is the Dodgers and they are Dark blue. Danny is the coach for Trevor's team and assistant coach for Beverlie's.

It's finally feeling like spring! Now that the weather has finally warmed up are family has been taking advantage of it. We have spent a lot of time at the park playing and just enjoying watching the kids play and have fun. Yesterday we went driving around and We went up by Emmett and we had a picnic at the park by the river. The kids have been having a blast. Beverlie stared playing softball and her first games start in May. Trevor is going to play baseball this year he will be starting soon too. We are going to be busy with sports this year but it will be fun.

Disneyland Adventure

We started are vacation by going to Hollywood and walking down the walk of fame we seen the stars and the Kodak theater were they have American Idol. We then went to the Santa Monica Beach and the kids built sand castles and made sand angels and collected seashells. It was fun but it was only the beginning of the journey. The next four days was all Disneyland we started with the character dinner. Where the kids eat with the Disney characters. They meet Minnie mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy, Jasmine, mad hatter, Goofy, Chip and Dale.
We woke up early every morning and got to the park before it opened at 8am. I have to say I have learned that my 4 year old little boy (Trevor) is fearless. He went on all the big rides and instead of being scared he wanted to go on them again. He even wanted to go on the California screamer but he wasn't tall enough. We took the girls to see the princess and the meet Belle, Ariel they got a lot of autograph's from the character's. We watched the Celebrate parade and the kids got to dance with the Character's. I have to say walking about 4 blocks to get to Disneyland from are hotel and all around Disneyland for 4 days killed my feet. After Disneyland was over we went to see the stars homes. We went by Tom cruise and Katie Holmes house, Micheal Jackson's house had roses on his gate, and we went by the playboy mansion. It was a blast to take the kids and have fun.
This ride was one of the scariest rides we rode on and Trevor wanted to ride it again after he went on it the first time. This ride they tell you a story about the twilight zone. Then you get into a elevator and they take you to the 13th floor and you drop straight down and then back up again. It was funny on this ride because Josh and Megan knew what the ride was like and when they got to the 12th floor and did something scary Megan started screaming and Josh turned around and said "Megan not yet." Then it went to the 13th floor and dropped us. I'll never think the same about elevators again.

Happy Birthday Beverlie

We celebrated Beverlie's 11th birthday yesterday. She is growing up so fast and starting to become a beautiful girl. She had tons of fun at her party. She invited a couple of her good friends and her cousin's and grandma came to the party. They played outside playing games. For her birthday we got her a basketball hoop and some hair stuff. She is starting to get into sports and she will be starting softball this summer.

This is Beverlie's cake I decorated for her. It is high school musical one of her favorite movies. I messed up on the cake when I put HMS instead of the right way HSM. I didn't realize I spelt it wrong until Megan let me know I did. But the cake was yummy..

Vacation To Disneyland

We have planned are vacation and are going to Disneyland. We are excited about going it is going to be a blast. We booked are trip and everything is paid for except for gas, food, and gifts. We plan on driving to California.We are leaving for California on Monday afternoon and driving all the way to L.A. We plan on going to the beach and taking the kids to Hollywood to see the stars and the people dressed up as movie characters. Last time me,Danny, and Trevor went to Hollywood Me and Trevor got are picture took with Freddy Kruger. Kaitlyn will be with us to go to Disneyland she will be flying in. We are going to spend 4 days in Disneyland. It's going to be a blast we reserved for are family to eat dinner with the Disney characters. Me and Danny have been more excited then are kids. I think it will hit them and they'll get excited after we start on are trip. We wont be going for 27 days and counting down.

When I was younger my parents every year took us on a trip. We went alot of different places like...
Disneyland, knotts berry farm, yellowstone we always went to places like the national parks. I loved going on those trips. They were fun. I want to start that tradition with my family. So we can make some great memories that last forever. As a family last year we took a trip to the Grand canyon and some other places along the way and it was fun to camp in the National park and just spending time with my family. This year we want to take the kids to Disneyland. We just have to save some money and get time off of work so we can go.. I think the kids would love it. When we are in California I would like to go to to the beach and let the kids see the ocean and sea world. I think it would be a fun trip for the whole family. Next year well have to see what place we would like to go...

Christmas and New Years Eve fun...

We had a great Christmas this year. The kids got alot of stuff. Beverlie got a Jewelery box.
Carolyn got a Karaoke machine. Trevor got a tool work bench with tools. Ryan got a marble track. The kids woke us up at about 5am to open gifts. Ryan later that day fell asleep on his stocking under the Christmas tree...

This New year eve was very interesting. It snowed all day and when we got home. We wanted to watch the Jazz game and New years eve shows. Well because of the snow we werent able to because are satellite dish was getting no signal. Are dish is on the top of are roof so we were not able to reach it. After trying everything to get the snow off the roof Danny climbed on the roof to try and get the snow of the dish. well to say the least the roof was slick. Danny wasn't able to get to the dish. He started sliding so me and Beverlie moved the trampoline up as close as we could to he house. But little good that did. Danny started sliding and he made it on the Trampoline but the Trampoline broke and he hit his knee on the side walk. He has a sore knee but he is okay. Things you shouldn't do....
Needless to say the least when we got back in the house the t.v. was working if only we had waited...

New years was Danny's birthday. Patty took are family to lunch and Jenny's family came with it was fun then we came home and spent the day together and had birthday cake.. Danny is a great husband and father and we love him with all of are hearts.

Holidays filled with families

This year we had Thanksgiving at Jenny's house. The whole day was fun and it was nice to have the family get togeher. Grandma Patty, Makette and her family, Cody, Coy, and Daxton, Matt and his family and are family was there. Rachel just had her new baby Tyce and she stayed home. We missed not having her their for Thanksgiving . We had a great dinner with a variety of pies. After dinner we were all stuffed. But dinner was just the beginning of the day. After dinner we played games and had tones of fun. It was a day to have your camera and take lots of pictures. Here are some great pictures of a great Holiday get together. After dinner some of the kids played truth or dare
and some was outside playing and then the little boys was playing the Wii. After a while we all had a dance athon and it was great and everybody joined in. Patty started the danceathon and then we went down in age. It was fun to see everybody's personalities come out when they were dancing. After we left Jenny's everybody came over to see are new house. Then everybody went bowling. It was a great day.

Family update

We are all doing good. The girls got their report cards from school. They are doing good in school. They have made alot of friends. Beverlie made it on the honor roll and got a certificate and for making it on the honor roll she gets a free meal at TGI friday. Trevor is still taking gymnastics. He really enjoys it. He is moving up to slipper snakes. He is really good at it. He likes the bars and the balancing beam the best. Ryan is a little trouble maker he is always picking on his brother and sisters and keeping his dad busy. Carolyn has just started liking Micheal Jackson. She is always watching the micheal jackson videos on youtube. She mostly watches Thriller and does the dance it is cute.... Danny has been looking for a job he hasn't had much luck. But the kids love having him home. He holds are family together and we would be lost without him in are lives. I have been at my job for 4 months and I just got a promotion 3 weeks ago. Its nice I got to pick my schedule and a raise plus a bonus. Im excited because I will get all the upcoming holidays off to spend with my family. We are getting ready for the holiday this year we are going to Jenny's for Thanksgiving. I cant wait till the Black Friday sales. They are the best time to go shopping. If you have any funny black friday sales I would love to hear them.

My favorite moment was when Me, Danny and all of his sisters went together and Me and Danny wanted to get Trevor a power wheels jeep that was on sale for way cheap. We knew there would only be a limited amout. So we was at Walmart at 4am and was standing in the crowd around the powerwheels once the sale started everybody was grabbing them as fast as they could. Danny dived over the crowd and grab one and ran for the check out. It was funny. All of are shopping we did together the whole day. All of us piled into one car and then we tried to pile all the stuff we all bought around us.

Halloween is almost here and we finally got around to carving are pumpkins. The kids had a blast carving there pumpkins. Ryan and Trevor liked using the scrapper to get the seeds out of the pumpkins. Beverlie had no problem getting the seeds out of her pumpkin, Carolyn on the other hand wouldnt even stick her hand in the pumpkin. She thought it was gross.

Today we celebrated Carolyn and Trevors birthday. Carolyn turned 7 years old and Trevor turned 4 years old. There birthday's are on the 7th and the 8th of Oct. This year we decided to do their birthdays on the same day. This year we took them to Chucky cheese. They had a blast we went after school. Jenny and her family came too. we had lunch and the kids played the games. Me and Danny was having fun playing the games too. Trevor liked getting his picture sketched with Josh. They had their picture sketched aleast 3 different times with different funny faces. Chuck cheese came out and Carolyn and Ryan got their picture took with him it was cute. The kids had fun. After they were done playing they opened presents and had cupcakes. We got Trevor Batman cupcakes and Carolyn got Hannana Montana cupcakes. Carolyn got a computer, barbie, googles (that is all she asked for, she wanted them for swimming), movie, shirt, and $10.00. She like al the presents she got. Trevor got a big Spiderman Bike, helmet and pads, power rangers (he loves super heros), jacket, ad $10.00. He likes everything he got for is birhday. He has wanted to ride his new bike since he got it.

Starting school

Today was the first day of head start for trevor and ryan they sure were excited.

Tanya and I have to volunteer for awhile because they were put on a waiting list but it will only be for a week or two so tanya got to go to school today she said they did some sponge painting and arts.

They got to eat breakfast and lunch after school was over trevor was upset because he coulden't ride the school bus with the other kids but once he is off the waiting list he can ride the bus overall they really seemed to enjoy thier first day of school.

Trevor is also doing gymnastics he is one of the best in his class he really enjoys it he is a monkey and you should see him on the bars his teacher says that he has alot of strenght for his age group he also has great balance he can walk, run, hop all the way across the balancing beems with no help he can begin competing at the age of six so he has two years to practice and get better.

The kids just finished thier first session of swim lessons and are advancing to the next level.

Beverlie is in competitive cheer and doing very well she is a flyer she is the one they throw in the air she is usually scared of things like that but has gaied the trust of her teamates and does very well they are getting thier uniforms next week and she is excited.

I just thought I would update about the kids I have realized what a blessing it has been for my family since we have moved to Idaho they really enjoy bieng involved in activities and are making alot of friends they absolutly love thier home and thier ward they love primary and the missionaries. The missionaries come once a week to help us regain a testimony and the kids really enjoy it I know that we will find away to make it work up here tanya is the strength of this family and I love her so much for the things she does I hope that I can spend eternity with my family because I couldnt emagine being without them.

Last Wensday Me and Danny and the kids decided to go for a drive down by the staduim to see what was going on since the biggest game to be played in Boise was the next day. On are way downtown the radio announced that they were going to give away 2 tickets to the big game. All you have to do is be the 1000 caller to win. So we decided to try and win the tickets. They gave the phone number so fast that we didnt know if we had the right phone number. But we still called it. Everytime we called the line was busy. I thought the odds of us getting through was slim. But by the 20th time I called it started ringing. I was excited that I could maybe be the winner but I was nervious. After it rang about 20 times. He finally answered. I didn't now if I had the right number. So I asked If it was a radio station. They left and came back and said yes. So I asked what caller I was and he asked if he owed me money. I started thinking I had the wrong number and somebody was joking around with me. After some really strange questions he finally told me that I was caller number 3. I am just glad I wasnt on the radio. Well after that we keep calling. Everytime it started ringing I gave the phone to Danny. I figured he could do all the talking. We got through about 8 times but we werent the winners. We even got Jenny and her family calling in to win the tickets.

Its that time of year again so I decided I would post my pre season predictions, as you can see I am the lonley ute fan in my family the rest are byu fans how ever I am convinced that byu will have a better season this year.
my predictions.
TCU 12-0
Byu 10-2
utah 10-2
I think byu will lose to tcu and then lose confidence like they so often do and then they lose to utah in the holy war.
Utah suffers losses to tcu and oregan.
Tcu runs the table and bust's the bcs, I hope my predictions are wrong and utah runs the table but they lost alot of there coaching staff and some of there best players from last season.
The main thing that will hurt utah is losing louie sakoda concidering he won at least 3 games for the utes last season its amazing how much a kicker can impact the game as seen last season.

As for byu I am giving them the benifit of the doubt I think they will shock the nation the first week of the season and will beat oklahoma which will set up the undeafeted team from the mountain west to have a shot at a national championship so I am definitly going to be watching that game and cheering for byu, I think tcu and byu will be undefeated when they meet in provo but tcu's defence will be to much and max hall will throw 5 intercepions like he does in big games however if utah dont run the table I would prefer byu does. I will probebly change my predictions after week 1 if byu losses if they lose that game I think it will be a totally different senerio they will probebly lose 4 games OU,TCU,FSU,UTAH. Tcu bcs busters, Utah las vegas bowl, Byu poinsietta bowl vs boise state.

I love college football its awsome but I have to tell you since I moved to boise I am somewhat annoyed these people practice boise state football like we do are religion eveyother mailbox painted boise state, Every other vehicle coverd in bsu perifenellia, every grill with a bsu cover,
every radio station giving away free tickets to bsu home games and must we not forget the famous countdown to the biggest game ever played in idaho state history i think I just heard that its 3 days 48 min and 22 seconds until kickoff all this comotion and they are only playing the oregan ducks its only like 5 hrs away from here its not like there playing florida. I hope oregan rides the broncos right out of there own stadium right back up to oregan and then utah shoots a bow right through the quacking ducks. I cant stand bsu. oh I went to bronco stadium on saturday to see scott play football and seen the famous blue turff wow, I yelled go utes and I lived even though all the threats of how much they hate utah and byu they are just a bunch of weak winers around here sore losers. I got a nice laugh though I think I embaresed jenny and tim.

Back to School

Today is the first day of school for Beverlie and Carolyn. They have been so excited for about a week to go back to shool. We took them school shopping and Beverlie got her haircut. It wasnt how she wanted it. They cut it shorter then she wanted. But it is still cute. Carolyn her hair hasn't grown back from when she got it cut the last time. They are excited to make new friends. Trevor and Ryan got to see their school they will be going to this year. Trevor will be going 4 days a week for 3hr. Ryan will go 2 days a week for 3hr and then a teacher will come o are home 2days of that week. Trevor was so excited to go to school. He wanted to get a backpack and all the stuff the girls had to get for their school.

Fair Days

Last weekend was are county fair. We took the kids to go and have fun. They all rode on some of the rides that were there. Trevor wanted to ride the pirate ship but he was to small. So he rode the airplanes with Carolyn and Ryan. Beverlie went on the Gravitron with Danny. I wanted to go on the zipper. I tried getting Beverlie to go with me but she wouldn't. But Carolyn she said she would go with me. She was abrave one. When we were on the ride she never screamed. She did get scared and asked me to tell them to stop it. It was fun but for the price we payed for the tickets was expensive. It would have been cheaper to go to an amusement park were they have more rides for the kids. We decided to sit down and watch the juggler perform. He had the crowd play a prank on people walking by. The plan was to cheer and clap well he sat and read a book and every time he turned the page we were suppose to get louder. It was funny. There was an old guy who heard us laughing and clapping and he walked up were he could she what was going on he looked on stage and had this funny look on his face, then he took off his glasses and wiped them off, then he put them back on and looked again. That old man just had know idea it was him and the other people's faces we were laughing about. It was so funny.

We threw a party for Ryan on saturday. He turned 2. We did a Thomas the train theme. We bought him a Thomas traxs set, bat and ball, noise maker, and some outfits and books. Jenny and her family came over and we had Deli sandwiches for lunch and then watched Ryan open his presents. He was so cute taking his time put the paper down in a pile. He got a swimsuit and towel from the Needles family. When he opened his bat he started hiting everybody with it. It was fun. then we sang Happy birthday and eat cake. Then we headed to YMCA to go swimming. The kids had a blast.. Ryan loved going down the slide with his dad. The other kids liked the river.

Are 4th of July was filled with fun. We started the day by going to the parade, Then we went to Camelback park a had picnic made by Jenny. We hiked up the hill and walked to the creek and the sand hill. It was fun but really hot. After the park we went to get ice cream to cool us off. Then we got invited to go boating at Lake Lowell. It was a blast the kids rode on the inflated tube and played in the water it was a blast. Trevor was brave he wanted to ride on the tube by himself like his dad. All the kids rode on the tube even Ryan I rode on the tube with Megan, Sam and Beverlie. After boating we went to Jenny's and lit fireworks.

This year we spent the fourth of July n Idaho with Jenny's family. We started the day out by going to the parade. It was fun and the kids enjoyed it but it was HOT.. Trevor like the wolf in the little diesel truck.

New Home

I got a job in Boise, Id. So we moved to Idaho. We have been here for about a week. We love are new house and we live close to Jenny and her family and grandma Patty. We live in a quiet sub we have met a couple of are new neighbors. It seems like a nice community.

The Grand Canyon

We decided this summer we would take a fun family trip. We started are adventure off going down throught Kanab. We got to see part of Lake Powell as we crossed the Utah/Arizona border. We stayed the night in Page, Arizona. Then we got up early and start off to the Grand Canyon. When we got to the Grand Canyon we found a camp site and set up camp before we went out exploring. We started driving through the canyon stopping at scenic views. It is so amazing how beautiful it is. We walked some trails and looked off some cliffs. The kids were pretty fealess they would walk out on the edge with no problems. At the grand view Danny, Beverlie, and Kaitlyn got their picture took when they were in the rock. It was fun. Danny took the girls down a trail to the copper mine and he took some really awsome pictures along the way. The trail was steap annd rocky so me and the boys stayed at the top playing on the rocks and having fun. We took the kids to the indain ruins. It was neat to see how they lived. At the ruins there was a view of the highest peak in Arizona throught some trees. The kids favorite part was the (castle) tower. We climb up the top and took some picture of the grand canyon and we got a picture of the kids standing in the chimney. They had fun. At camp they played games and ran all over the place. We sang songs and told scary stories around the campfire.

After the Grand Canyon we traveled through Arizona and crossed over the Hoovr Dam. Then we stopped and seen Lake Mead. Then we stopped at Las Vegas and stayed the night. We took the kids down the strip and let them see the different casinos. They seen the waterfalls at the Mirage, the pirate ships at treasure Island, the Eiffel Tower and the Stratosphere. The next day we took the kids swimming. Then we took them to circus circus to see the circus show then took them to the adventure dome. Me and Danny rode the New york rollercoaster. It was a blast. On are way home we stopped at St. George and visited with Grandma White. It was nice to get to see here and see how she has been doing we really enjoyed it. I took pictures of the whole trip and made a slide show so you can see all the pictures we took.

Gardening

We have been busy getting are garden growing. We finally got it planted. Are garden is huge and it is going to be a lot of work. But we are excited. Trevor has been helping with the garden. He was out there everyday with us planting his own garden. It was so cute. When we were planting the garden my shovel would always come up missing. I just had to go to Trevor's garden to get it back. It's only been a couple of days since we planted are garden and we are already seeing some of are vegetables starting to grow. We planted just about everything in are garden.
beans, beets, broccoli, carrots, squash, zucchini, radish, Green peppers, jalapenos, cabbage, cauliflower, 3 different tomatoes, cucumbers, potatoes, watermelon, cantaloupe, honey dew, pumpkins, and peas. I don't think I forgot anything. Oh and we planted strawberries too. I can't wait till everything starts growing.

We have also been working on are front yard. I plant two flower beds. One in front of are porch.

Danny has started are sidewalk. He is almost done with it. He just has alittle ways to go. He has put bark on the side of the sidewalk. I think it looks really nice he did a good job. If you look really close at the picture you will see the dog prints. He just got done laying the cement when the kids let the dogs out and were did they go. Right across the wet cement. So now we have dog prints in the cement.

Family update

Well are family is doing good. The girls are excited about being out of school for the summer. They have 1 more week left. Beverlie did a talent show at the school. She did a dance with 2 of her friends ( Aubrey and Brittany Jo). They had fun and worked really hard on there dance and they did good. Carolyn class did a brunch with the moms and we played games. It was tons of fun. Except when we did the sack race. I was racing against Carolyn and Hailey. They won me. I couldn't do it. I keep falling every time I tried. it took me forever just to get to the finish line. But I wasn't the only one who couldn't do it. The boys are getting big. They love just playing and having fun. They love the dirt and mud. They play outside in the dirt, riding bikes, and playing baseball. Me and Trevor was outside the other day playing baseball. He is good at it. He'll hit the ball and take off running so I can chase him. Ryan loves to be pushed in his little car. This summer I'm going to plant a garden. I plan on making Strawberry Jam and homemade salsa.
The other day Trevor decided to play barber. He wanted to cut his paper he was drawing so I gave him the scissors and when I went to the bathroom when I came back in the room the was hair every where's and Trevor was guilty hiding the scissors be hide his back. While Carolyn was a sleep on the chair he cut off her ponytail. So the other day I took her to get her hair fixed at the salon. Here is the pictures of her new hair cut.

Today was a nice day. Carol, Misty and her family came over to are house. We sat outside and was visiting enjoying the outside. Then we went over to their house to help Misty and Steve get ready for their yard sell their going to be having. Well it was really hot today and we'll we were going through boxes of stuff the kids thought they would take their socks and shoes off and get wet. My dad was watering his fruit trees and the kids took advantage of it. We'll Trevor,Jarrett,Hailie, and Carolyn was running through the water and mud Ryan was trying to spray them with the hose. He thought it was fun until he spayed himself in the face with the water. It was fun just to watch them and they had tons of fun...The kids are enjoying this great weather we are having.

It finally has warmed up. We have been loving it. We have been outside doing some yard work and playing with the kids. The other day we went over to Misty and Steve's and the kids played baseball. The kids had tons of fun. We have been busy having fun.

The Utah Jazz met the Lakers in the NBA playoffs. Last nights game was game 5. They lost the game but they put up a good fight at the end. Jerry Sloan got a technical and got kicked out of the game. Charles Barkley said they should have let him go after the refs instead of holding him back. That would have been a fight to see. The media have been saying it was Millsap that got the Jazz back in the game but I think it was all Ronnie Price. On tnt they always send teams fishing if they lose. Last night the Jazz lost so they sent them fishing. This is what the media thinks of Utah. The picture tells it all. It is funny though.

Deron Williams and Carlos Boozer are Gone Fishin' with former Bears and BYU QB Jim McMahon. And must we not leave out the boat to the left... No other then BIG LOVE....

So not only do they dress Boozer in a BYU tshirt, and Williams dressed like a missionary they just had to add piligamy on top of it....Only in Utah...But it is funny......

Coloring Easter Eggs

Easter is almost here and the kids are really excited. We went to price today to get the eggs and coloring kits to color eggs. Well when we got to Walmart we walked in the doors and over to the Easter stuff. When there was announcement that you had 30min. to check out. Because the power went out. I was thinking great. so we hurried and grabbed the eggs and the coloring kit I figured I could go back and get the Easter stuff later. So we rushed to get in line. When we got there the lines were long. I was thining what else could go wrong. We stood there what seemed like forever. Then it was almost are turn to check out and the power came on. Go figure. Well anyway I decided to leave the line and go ge the rest o my stuff so I did't have to make another trip. Finally we made it home and the kids got to color easter eggs.

Grocery Savings

I went grocery shopping today. I thought I would try the tips I got from the grocery smarts class Shaniel invited me too. I got two sunday papers last week to get the coupons and use them when things go on sale. Im still not really good at when to use the coupons yet. But Im sure I'll get it eventually.

9 boxes of cereal (4 frosted flakes, 1 Apple Jacks, 2 honey bunches of oats, Banana crunch cereal)
10 boxes of Pasta Salad
4 cans of broth
2 cans of baked beans
2 Roasts
2 packages of ribs
1 package of fish sticks
1 package of battered fish
2 strudels ( fresh baked)

All this stuff I bought I only paid $72.34. I dont remember what I saved. But I think I did pretty good for my first time. I also got coupons for next visit to Albertsons. I get 3 Gallons of FREE Milk and a coupon for $3.00 off on Post cereal. After my visit to the store I think Im going to keep collecting coupons and keep saving money. It really does work.

We hav been working on getting are food storage going. Before I learned about the grocery smarts I bought a lot of food at the caselot sale they had and now we have lot of food stored up.
We bought alot of vegetables, ketchup, beans, honey, mac n cheese, noodles and just alot of other stuff. I took some pictures of are food storage. The pictures are of just the canned food the rest of the stuff is put in are cupboards.

It has been awhile since I blogged last. So Im giving everybody an update.
Are family went to Jenny's last week to visit and look for jobs up their. It was fun
Matt and his family was there too. Trevor had fun playing with Marshall and Ryan wouldn't leave Courtney alone he keep hugging and kissing her. He just loved Courtney. It was fun. Well I did parent teacher confrence and Beverllie and Carolyn are doing really well in school. Carolyn ha made alot of progress since the first of the year. Beverlie did the science fair on Wensday. She only had one day to do her project. So it was a hurry up project. She did it on weather. She got a bottle and put some water, vinegar, dish soap, and glitter in it and when you swirl it it makes a tornado. She also got a jar and put hot water in it and then put th lid on top and put icecubes on it and it made rain. She had lots of fun doing it. Trevor is my little athlet. He loves going outside and playing every sport you can think of . He loves playing baseball, basketball, and we were even playing kick ball. He i so cute playing baseball when he miss the ball he runs the bases anyways. I think he just likes me to chase him to get him out. Ryan he just lovs to play outside doing anything. He climbs on the trampoline and jumps, and slides on their swing set. He got a little car for christmas and he loves riding on it. He loves to climb. He climbs on everything. He has even learned how to get on the bunkbeds. On April 1st the church had an April fools day party and I tok the kids there. They had tons of fun. Beverlie, Carolyn, Ryan all got there faces painted. Trevor wasn't having that. Trevor play a ring toss game, Ryan keep doing the limbo, Beverlie was doing line dancing. We all did the cake walk but Beverlie was the only one who won a cake. This weekend is the easter egg hunt. Were going to take the kids to it.

Well the kids really love are new puppy. They play
with her all the time. It is so funny to watchthem play

together. The dog will bite Ryan's diaper and Ryan will
start runing and the dog would still be holding on to his

diaper. Today the kids found out she will play ball with

them. They would throw on of Ryan's little basketball

and the dog would run and get it and bring it back.

Then they thought it would be fun to try a bigger ball.

So they rolled a bouncy ball and Jazzy tried really hard to bring it back

to them. I got it on video and posted it on my blog. Im still

laughing at watching this little dog going after the balls.

I love everything about Danny. He is a great father and husband and he does all he can to give his family everything. He's great at everything he does and he know how to bring a smile to your face. With that one of a kind personality. Since I meet Danny I have become a fan of all kinds of sports. He is this biggest Utah Utes fan I know. We watch every game and go to as many as we can. 2 years ago we went all the way to pondarosa, CA. to watch the Utes play UCLA. When we were there we went to the Ocean and down Hollywood and seen everybody trying to make a buck dressing up as famous people. He is also a huge Jazz fan. We watch the every game and we have been to alot of Jazz games including lower bowl tickets and we even went to the playoff game when they played the Rockets. He loves sports and I love that about him. We have gone alot of places together as a family. We spend alot of time together as a family and I love it. I love spend every minute with him. He knows how to brig me up when Im feeling down. He loves spending time with his kids. Playing baseball, riding horses, going to amusement parks, going to family outings, or even just playing cars with the boys. I love everything about him.

New addition to are family

This last weekend when Danny and Beverlie went shopping they came back with are new puppy.
She's a pug and we named her Jazzy.

The kids love her. They fight over who's going to hold her and who she is going to sleep with. Ryan he will chase her all around the house. There's been a couple of times Ryan would be crawling on the floor and Jazzy is following right behind him. The girls hold her while there watching t.v. and Trevor won't go anywhere's unless we take the dog. The last 2 times we went Price to go shopping we had to take the dog with. We made a nice bed for her but she don't sleep in it. She sleeps with somebody in the family. But she is so tiny that we have to watch for her running around the house. But it's fun to have her around and the kids love her.

Superbowl Weekend

This weekend was a blast. Saturday are family played with versares all the kids rode her around the yard.The kids really enjoyed riding the horses. It was a nice day. Sunday we made a veggie tray, had chips and dip, ad made sloppy Joes for the supperbowl. I have to say it was a boring game untill the very end. The Cardinals should have won the game. Sunday Matt and Jamie and their family came over and the kids played outside on the swingset and the trampoline. They were havig so much fun playing together. Trevor and Marshal had fun playing cars together. Danny caught the horse so everyone could ride her. Carolyn rode her first, then Maddie, Trevor, and Ryan. Marshal was going to ride her untill the dog scared him. After that he didn't want a turn on the horse. we had lunch and visited. Courney was crawling on the lawn and ws trying to drink the pops from lunch. she is so cute... This weekend was fun....

All about Jazz...UTAH JAZZ!!!

This year for Christmas I bought Danny lower bowl Utah
Jazz tickets to the Jazz vs Pistons game. We sat behind the basket
by the Pistons bench. It was a blast. Before the game we went to

dinner with Matt and Jamie. Then we all went to the game. We got there
early to try and get autographs from the players. We bought a blue Jazz ball

For to get atographs on. We got Kyle Korver, Ronnie Brewer, Kosta koufos,
and Brevin Knight. We still had time before the game so we went and got

Bailey's autography too. Then They anounced that the Bear was giving
autographs. Jamie took off running joking around. It was fun. We got to were

the Bear was signing autographs and got his too and pictures with the Bear.
Then it was time for the game. The game just wouldn't be the same with out

my wonderful husband and his personality. For everybody who knows my husbands
personality knows what I'm talking about. The game was a good game. Danny was cheering

the whole game. There was a fan there that shout shut up, that only made Danny
get louder. He had every eye on him most of the time.

When there was only 2 min. left of the game some people started leaving because it was
a for sure win for the Jazz. We moved down closer to the court. Danny was yelling at

AI. Allen Iverson calling him a ball hog. He was getting mad and throughing Daggers at
us. He heard everything Danny said. It was fun. After the game when we were walking out
we had to try and get are 2 min. of fame. So we were outside the window jumping up and down

to try and get on t.v. Then there were other people who joined in. You just had to be there
words can't describe how fun it was. I was having so much fun that I was crying from laughing so hard.

Life on the farm

Are family moved to Elmo and we live
on a farm with alot of acres for the kids to play.
The kids like it. When Kaitlyn was down last smmer
the kids built a hut in the back yard and had tons of
fun making mud pies and getting dirty. We also
got some horse. The kids love them. Last summer we
spent alot of time with the horses. We starting breaking
the baby colt so that the kids could ride her. Everyday
we were out there walking her and petting her so she would
get use to us. Verseares is the mom and she is already broke
to ride. But we couldn't ride her because she was pregnant.
She was suppose to have her baby this spring. But she had
her colt on Christmas eve and it was to early so the colt didn't
make it. But when it warms up the kids want to ride the horses.
When I was younger I rode horses in the rodeos. Doing barrel racing.
The kids want to start riding the horses in barrel racing too.
I think they would have lots of fun. We haven't decide for sure
what to name the baby but we have to names Diamond because she has
a mark on her nose in the shape of a diamond or Jasmine.

and Ryan wouldn't go down unless I went with them.

Beverlie and carolyn went together and by their selfs.

Trevor went dow with Danny and when they got to the

bottom of the hill Trevor was coverd with snow fro head

to toes. He was laughing the whole time.

Carolyn's Christmas program

Carolyn had a christmas program yesterday.
The program was about Santa Clause lossing his memory.
And they had to try and get him to remember Christmas
or christmas won't come this year.
Carolyn was a Reindeer and they sang Rudolph the red nose
reindeer.
Carolyn is the sencond on with her back to the camera.

First snow of the year

The other day we got are first snow. The kids loved it.
they was outside playing making snow angels and
trying to build a snowman. Trevor was having fun throwing
snow at everybody. Everybody thought it was fun except
Ryan. He didn't like the cold. Trevor thought it was funny to hit him
with snowballs and make him cry. They got to play in the snow for
two days and now it's starting to melt. The kids wanted to go sledding
but we didn't get enough snow.

Christmas

It's Christmas time at our house

and we are putting up the tree.

I wish I could find one simple way

to remember Christ's gift to me.

Some little sign or symbol

to show friends stopping by.

The little baby was born one day,

But he really came to die.

Some symbol of his ail pierced hands,

the blood he shed for you & me...

What if I hung a simple nail

upon my Christmas tree?

A crimson bow tied round the nail

as his blood flowed dow so free

to save each person from their sin

and redeem us for all etenity.

I know it was his love for us

That held him to that tree,

but whe I see this simple nail

Iknow he died for me...

The night before Jesus came

Twas the night before Jesus came and all thru the house.

not a person was praying, not one in the house.

The bible was left on the self without care,

for no one thought Jesus would come there.

The children were dressing to crawl into bed,

not once kneeling or bowing a head.

And mom in her rocker with babe in her lap,

was watching the late show while I took a nap.

When out of theast there rose such a clatter,

I sprang to my feet to see what was the matter.

Away to the window I flew like a flash,

to ope the shutters and lift up the sash!

When what to my wondering eye's should appear,

but angels proclaiming that Jesus was here!

The light on his face made me cover my head.

It was Jesus returning, just as he said.

And though I possessed wordly wisdom and wealth,

I cried when I ssaw him in spite of myself.

In the book of life which he held in his hand

was written the name of every saved man,

He spoke not a word as he searched for my name,

When he said, "Its's not here" my head hung in shame.

The people whose names had been written with love,

He gathered to take to his father above.

With those who were ready he rose without sound,

while all of the rest were left to stand around.

I fell to my knees, But it was to late,

I had waited to long and thus sealed my fate.

I stood ad I cried as they rose out of sight,

oh, If only I had known that this was the night.

In the words of this poem the meaning is clear,

the comig of Jesus is now drawing near.

There's only one life and when comes the last call!

We'll find the scriptures were true after all.

Thanksgiving

This year we went to Rachel's house and had dinner with her family and Grandma Patty. Dinner was fun and the food was delicous. Rachel made alot of different homemade pie's. After dinner we took the kids to watch Bolt. The kids really liked the movie. Matt and Jamie stopped and we played games and had lots of fun. After Thanksgiving we all did the black friday sales. That was just plan maddness. The stores were all packed and the lines were longer then ever. Everybody trying to get go Christmas deals. But it was fun. That Friday me ad Danny took the Beverlie, Trevor, Scott, Megan, and Josh to the Jazz game. They played the Kings and WON.

It's Rivalry week. Let's get Ready To Rumble!

My bet, This year will be a dominate Utah victory. I've got 100 dollars on a Utah 41-27 Victory.

Utah will win the defence and special team battle and Brain Johnson will have big numbers at the end of the day.

I am boycotting blue this week. However Im giving BYU fans a chance to speak. Send me your predictions. So Saturday the 22nd I can call and tell you how wrong you were because I know you are all Byu fans. GO UTES.
